Our Heritage: Established in 2008, Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church is a vibrant community nestled within the heart of Jacksonville, Texas. As part of the Antiochian Western Rite Vicariate, our journey began when the entire congregation, inspired by a shared conviction, embraced Orthodox Christianity together as a community. Since then, we have been steadfast in our commitment to live out the ancient Christian faith in the Western tradition. Rooted in the rich heritage of the Western Church, our liturgical practices, hymns, and spiritual disciplines echo the early Christian communities of Europe. This unique expression of Orthodox Christianity serves as a bridge, allowing those of American and Western cultural backgrounds to embrace the fullness of the Orthodox faith.

Our Mission: Our mission is to provide a spiritual home for seekers and believers alike, offering a parish where hearts and minds can be transformed through the grace of God. Through prayer, worship, and community, we strive to foster an environment where individuals can grow in their love for Christ and His One Holy and Apostolic Church.
